Questions people ask
Does being registered mean a broker is approved?
No. In Texas, the Secretary of State says registration doesn't imply approval or endorsement, and that it can't investigate brokers or enforce the law.7
Can I ask these states to delete my data?
None of the three registries takes deletion requests. Use the opt-out each broker lists, or the checklist for people-search sites. California residents can use DROP.
